Advanced Archers Qualify for Nationals after Successful State Competition

The Arete Prep Advanced Archery team had a strong state tournament, with many Chargers qualifying for the National Competition in Salt Lake City, UT on April 26th-27th. Advanced Archery Competes in State Qualifier at Ben Avery

Arete Prep Advanced Archery competed in a State Qualifier Saturday at Ben Avery. They battled windy conditions which made shooting difficult for all participants! The Chargers earned a 3rd place with Lauren Veselovsky taking 3rd place in the bullseye. Advanced Archery Takes 2nd Place at Wickenburg State Qualifier

The Arete Prep Advanced Archery team took second place over the weekend in Wickenburg. Cooper Beauregard posted a great early season score, tallying a 277 with 15 bullseyes. Coach George Portillo and the Chargers next competition is on 11/17.  They’ll take aim at a state qualifier in Prescott. Great job Archers!    

18-19 Arete Prep Archery Information

The 2018-19 Advanced Archery Season is beginning soon! Our program is part of NASP- National Archery for the Schools Program. Advanced Archery starts September 17th, with an informational meeting on campus in room 102. The meeting will go from 3:30-5:00pm. Practices will be Monday to Thursday The first portion of the season is for advanced archers
