Coed Varsity Archery Advanced · Advanced Archery Headed to Nationals!


All three Arete Prep Archery teams qualified for NASP Western Nationals after a successful state shoot at Ben Avery Range on Saturday! Plans will begin for all three teams to travel to Sandy, Utah on April 24th-25th to try to earn world qualification. The Chargers came home with 12 out of the 24 awards up for grabs, out of 540 Archerys- what a haul!

The high school team placed third overall at states. The middle school team earned 2nd in both bullseye and 3D, and elementary took 1st in both competitions. Individual trophies went to:

Shawn Widner (MS)- 2nd in 3D

Megan Alann (ELE)- 1st in both 3D and Bullseye

Kendall Antell (ELE)- 2nd in 3D and 3rd in Bullseye

Jocelyn Mason (ELE) – 3rd in 3D and 2nd in Bullseye

Coach Kelley also brought home the Volunteer of the Year Award! Thank you to Coach Kelley and all of our volunteers and Archery community for making this season a success. The best part is, we aren’t done yet! Thank you Archers for representing Arete with such class and distinction!
