Boys Varsity Football · Football’s Brennan Weir Signs With Illinois Wesleyan Univeristy

Senior WR/DE Brennan Weir has made his college decision, and will continue his football career at Illinois Wesleyan University! Weir racked up 1,023 yards on 59 catches his senior year. He scored 10 TD’s while averaging 17.3 yards per catch and 102.3 yards per game. On the defensive side of the ball, he had 68 tackles, 14 TFL, and a region leading 11 sacks. Weir earned 2nd team all state honors as a WR and 1st team all region honors as a WR and DE. Along with a strong senior class, Brennan led the Chargers to a 7-3 record, where they hosted and won the school’s first AIA Playoff game. They advanced to the State Quarterfinals where they fell to Mogollon.

We look forward to following Brennnan’s college career and hope to see more Chargers advancing to the NCAA level of athletics! Congratulations Brennan!
